【Important Announcement】ASCEplus ExoCoBio - Statement

Weiju Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is the authorized sole distributor in Taiwan for the ASCEplus series products of the South Korean original manufacturer, ExoCoBio.

In response to the latest regulatory principles governing the labeling of exosome-related ingredients by competent authorities, particularly regarding the requirement that plant-derived exosomes must currently be labeled using terms such as "extracellular vesicles" or "胞外體" (extracellular vesicles), we hereby clarify as follows:

The plant raw material derived from Damask Rose stem cells produced by ExoCoBio is manufactured through a special patented process. Its characteristics and composition comply with the definition and specifications of exosomes by the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV), and indeed fall within the category of exosomes. The original manufacturer, ExoCoBio, is currently applying to INCI for exclusive legal name certification for exosomes based on plant sources of Damask Rose stem cells.

However, to coordinate with Taiwan's current regulatory principles and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, the Company has adopted rolling adjustment measures effective today. We will unify the Chinese and English ingredient labeling of the ASCE Plus series products under our sole agency, updating them to the legally permitted name "EV" (abbreviation for Extracellular Vesicles), while concurrently revising relevant official promotional materials, packaging, and marketing resources.

To ensure compliance with current regulatory standards, we kindly request all business partners and user friends to correct "exosome" to "EV; extracellular vesicle" or "EV; 胞外體" on their official websites, social media posts, and all marketing materials. At the same time, the Company will provide ready-to-use image and text material packages to assist partners and users in smoothly updating their content. Please note that if modifications are not made in accordance with the above guidelines, or if competent authorities determine that violations have occurred due to labeling terminology that does not comply with current regulations, the corresponding liabilities shall be borne by each respective entity.

Additionally, the Company has recently received reports of partners being reported, presumably for claiming product therapeutic efficacy. We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the ASCEplus series products, as well as all exosome products on the market, fall under the scope of the Cosmetics Hygiene and Safety Management Act and are not medical products. Therefore, when conducting external publicity and promotion on official websites, fan pages, etc., words implying efficacy or therapeutic suggestion should be avoided to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and prevent the risk of being reported.

The Company has been dedicated to promoting the ASCEplus brand for a long time, providing professional and solid support to our partners and users. This untiring spirit has also received international recognition; we were honored with the "RAES Award Distributor Brand Ambassador" at the Regenerative Aesthetic Exosome Summit (RAES) annual conference in South Korea in November 2025, proving once again our outstanding performance in brand promotion and market cultivation.
